INVITATION TO BID REPLACEMENT OF ONE ROOFTOP HVAC UNIT CRAIG CIVIC CENTER ARENA LOCATION OF ROOFTOP HVAC UNIT TO BE REPLACED: 311 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood, WV 26537. The City of Kingwood, Parks & Recreation, West Virginia will receive sealed bids for Replacement of One Rooftop HVAC Unit for the Craig Civic Center Arena until May 11, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Unit will be comparable to the current unit being replaced, approximately 30 ton cooling and 500,000 BTU natural gas heating with an economizer. Bid is for the unit and installation, including curb adaptor to fit to current roof curb. Bids will be publicly opened and read on May 11, 2026 at the 6:30 p.m. Board meeting in the Kingwood Parks & Recreation Office located at 311 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood, WV. Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked “REPLACEMENT OF ONE ROOFTOP HVAC UNIT, CRAIG CIVIC CENTER ARENA, 311 TUNNELTON STREET, KINGWOOD, WV.” Bids are being solicited only from responsible and established contractors known to be experienced and regularly engaged in the work of HVAC Units for public buildings. Satisfactory evidence that the bidder has the necessary capital, equipment and personnel to do the work will be required. Winning bidder must provide proof of all applicable licenses and insurance to perform work in the state of West Virginia. 10% of Bid Price will be held for up to 60 days after project completion, upon approval of the Kingwood Parks & Recreation Board.
