HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COMMISSION
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR INTERIOR RENOVATIONS
The Hampshire County Commission is requesting proposals for interior improvements for the Sheriff’s Department building located at 111 School Street, Romney, WV 26757.
The project will include painting, flooring replacement and stripping/resealing existing tile, sand and refinish existing hardwood floors, upgrade office lighting, interior and exterior doors with electronic security system and exterior window replacement. Contract awards will be based on the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
An on-site mandatory bidders meeting and site inspection will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Interested bidders shall submit proposals to the Hampshire County Commission via mail at P.O. Box 806, Romney, WV 26757 or hand delivered to the County Clerk’s Office, 19 East Main St., Romney, WV 26757 marked “Sheriff’s Department Interior Renovations.” The deadline to submit a proposal is 4:00 p.m. on May 20, 2026.
The Hampshire County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
