CITY OF WELCH REQUEST FOR BIDS
The City of Welch hereby invites sealed bids for replacement of Projectors (3), Projector Lenses (3) and Server at the Pocahontas Theatre located at 60 McDowell Street, Welch, WV 24801.
Specifications for the project are as follows:
â¢Three (3) Christie CP2415-RGB Laser Projectors
â¢Three (3) Christie High
Brightness Lenses for Christie CP2415-RGB Laser Projectors sized for screen
â¢One (1) Server SR-1000
Standalone IMB with Portable Storage 3TB with Hard Drive Disk installed by Christie Authorized Cinema Technician
All interested and qualified vendors are invited to submit their sealed bids to the City Clerk's Office no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be considered.
Bids must be clearly marked "Bid for Pocahontas Theatre Projectors (3), Projector Lenses (3) and Server Replacement" and should include the vendor's name, address, contact person, and phone number.
The City of Welch reserves the right to reject all bids and solicit new bids on the project pursuant to West Virginia Code 5-22-1(e).
Pursuant to West Virginia Code § 5-22-2(a), the City of Welch shall publicly open received bids to be read aloud at 3:00 p.m. Friday May 8, 2026.
