ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The Town of Fayetteville, Fayette County, West Virginia, is requesting proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide professional architectural design and construction administration services for the development of a new municipal shop facility.
The selected firm will be responsible for providing services that include, but are not limited to: development of conceptual designs; preparation of design development, and construction documents; cost estimating; assistance with bidding and procurement; evaluation of bids and recommendation for award; and construction administration services, including site visits, review of contractor submittals, and certification of pay applications. The selected firm will be retained for all phases of the project.
All firms interested in being considered must submit a proposal outlining their qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, and relevant experience with similar projects.
The purpose of this competitive procurement process is to select the firm that will provide the highest quality of services in a cost-effective manner. Procurement of these services will be conducted in accordance with West Virginia Code § 5G-1-3, with emphasis placed on qualifications and experience.
Interested firms must submit three (3) copies of the following:
A letter of interest
A statement of qualifications,
including experience of key
personnel assigned to the project
References
Proposals should demonstrate the firm's experience with similar municipal or public facility projects, as well as familiarity with state and federal funding requirements.
