Board of Review &
Equalization Ohio County 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Ohio County Commission of Ohio County (in compliance with Chapter 11, Article 3, and Section 24 of the West Virginia Code as amended) will sit as a Board of Review and Equalization for Ohio County. The purpose of this Board is to review and equalize property assessments. Hearings will take place in Room 215 of the City County Building, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV Wednesday, January 27th, Friday, January 29th, Monday, February 1st, Wednesday, February 3th, Monday, February 8th, Thursday, February 11th, Tuesday, February 16th, Thursday, February 18th, Monday, February 22nd, Thursday, February 25th and Monday, February 29th.
If you desire to have your assessment reviewed, please contact the Ohio County Assessor’s Office at 234-3626 to schedule an informal hearing. If you would like to formal hearing before the Board of Review and Equalization you may obtain the proper form by contacting the County Commission Office. Hearings may end as soon as February 16, 2016 or as soon thereafter as appointments dictate. Under no circumstances can hearings be scheduled beyond February 29th, 2016.
