Advertisement for Bid
Sealed bids will be received by the Ohio County Commission, Room 215, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 for the purchase, programming, installation and training of UHF P-25 compliant radio equipment for the Ohio County Public Radio System. This equipment shall be assigned to the Wheeling Police Department and Wheeling Fire Department and must be interoperable with the West Virginia Statewide Interoperable Radio Network (SIRN).
Equipment requirements are as follows: 52 mobile radios to be installed in Wheeling Police cruisers; 90 portable radios for officers; 5 control stations to be installed in Wheeling Police headquarters and 25 mobile radios to be installed in Wheeling Fire Department apparatus, 100 portable radios; 10 control stations to be installed in Wheeling Fire stations and accessories for this equipment. A required itemized bid specification checklist with bid tabulation sheet may be picked up in the Ohio County Commission Office Room 215 of the City County Building.
Bids will be received until 1:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2016 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Completed bid specification form with documentation must be included in the sealed bid. Bids shall include all equipment, accessories, programming, installation, and training. Partial submittals will not be accepted. The WV State Contract for radio equipment will be considered as a bid. Award will be based on a combination of pricing and the ability to meet the specifications. The Ohio County Commission reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any and all bid guaranty, to reject any or all bids, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified bidder to such extent as may be necessary.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after closing time.
