UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority (CWVRAA) is notifying the contracting community of an upcoming construction contract opportunity at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). CWVRAA plans to install an electric charging station for electric aircraft. BETA Technologies will provide the charging cube, mini charging cube, power tower, and panel board. All electrical equipment will be installed on concrete pads. The contractor will be responsible for connecting the equipment provided by BETA. This work will be funded through a grant from Coalfield Development Corporation and will be subject to applicable federal grant requirements and reporting obligations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Work includes: Removal of existing pavement and general site clearing. Erosion and sediment control devices. Temporary construction items, including temporary AOA fencing. Excavation and topsoil stockpiling. Installation of concrete pads. Installation of duct banks and other electrical items, including connections to equipment provided by BETA. Restoration of the site.
