General Notice
Moundsville Housing Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Bid Project – Golden Towers Bathroom Renovations
Project #- T60-11427.04
Moundsville, WV
Bids for the construction of the Project T60-11388 will be received at the office of the Moundsville Housing Authority located at 501 Tenth Street, Moundsville, WV until June 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Housing Authority will receive bids from only qualified contractors with a valid West Virginia Contractor’s License and a minimum of 5-years’ experience in work required.
The Project T60-11427.04 includes the following Work:
Renovation of existing bathrooms.
Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM at 501 Tenth Street, Moundsville, WV. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office by paying $40 per set during the hours indicated. Cost does not include shipping charges.
Amounts paid are not subject to refund.
Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
The work to be performed under this Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 u (Section 3). The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this SCBG-assisted project will be extended to lower income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies.
The Moundsville Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
