Notice of Public Hearing

The following cases will be heard before the Historic Preservation Review Commission requesting a “Certificate of Appropriateness” on Monday, June 1st, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the J. Oakley Seibert Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 232 N. Queen St, Martinsburg, WV. In the event that an unforeseen circumstance would cause the Historic Preservation Review Commission to cancel the scheduled meeting, a backup public hearing date of Monday, June 8th, 2026, will be utilized.

Request: The applicant is requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness to repaint all white portions of the home black, repaint the stairs grey, and add a roof to the existing pergola.
