ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Tucker County Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for HVAC Renovations to the Tucker County Courthouse Phase Two. Sealed bids will be received in the Old Courtroom of the Tucker County Courthouse located at 215 First Street, Parsons, West Virginia 26287 until 11:00 a.m. local time, July 8, 2026 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids that are being mailed in must arrive prior to the Bid Date and Time and are to be sent to the following Address: Shelia DeVilder, Administrator Tucker County Commission 211 First Street, Suite 307 Parsons, West Virginia 26287 (304) 478-2866 x1207 (304) 478-2446 (fax) Bids that are being delivered by hand are to be delivered by 11:00 a.m. local time, on July 8, 2026 at the Old Courtroom. A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. local time, on June 17, 2026 in the Tucker County Courthouse Old Courtroom located at 215 First Street, Parsons, West Virginia 26287. Attendance at pre-bid conference is MANDATORY for prime bidders only. The deadline for Bidders' questions is June 29, 2026 at 12:00 noon. Prime Contract Bidders only may contact ZMM Architects and Engineers Attn: Receptionist; [email protected] and request information to access the firm's online ShareFile site for the HVAC Renovations to the Tucker County Courthouse Phase Two project. Once access is gained, Bidders can download Bidding Documents in the form of PDF files at no charge. Requests for access to documents must be made by email, and those requests received through mail, telephone, fax transmission, or other online communications will not receive a response. 2. Hard Copies may be obtained from Charleston Blueprint (304-343-1063) by General Contractors, Subcontractors, material suppliers and dealers by paying the actual cost of printing, binding and mailing; however such cost is not refundable. Bidding documents may be examined at Viewing Depositories listed in the Bidding Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond utilizing the bond forms bound in the Project Manual each in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid.
