An application to enroll in the Voluntary Remediation Program was accepted on September 9, 2016 and an Agreement was established on November 1, 2017. The 3.2 acre property was used as a Field Camp for Oil Field Services by Halliburton from 1970 to 2014. Phase I & II Site Assessments were conducted at the property in 2014, which identified environmental conditions that required additional assessment. Additional Phase II Site Assessments conducted at the site from 2018 through 2024 found contamination at the site that was eligible for a risk-based closure pending the restriction of groundwater and residential use at the property. A Land Use Covenant is in development to limit the future use of the property to non-residential and to prohibit the extraction of groundwater. Upon completion of remediation, the applicant will submit a Final Report, documenting that all work is complete.
