The Village of Vinton is Accepting sealed bids on the following items: 2012 17-foot Tracker watercraft (boat trailer included) and a 1990 Ford Cutaway E35 van (62,431 miles). Both items were formerly used by the Vinton Fire Department, no warranties expressed or implied. Interested parties may inspect the items by contacting 740-572-7424 to schedule an appointment. Sealed bids should be separate for each item and envelopes clearly marked “Sealed bid”. Bids will be accepted until Thursday, June 18th at 6:30pm and will be opened that evening. Bids can be mailed to PO Box 8, Vinton, Ohio 45686 or placed in the drop box at 121 Clay Street, Vinton, Ohio. Bids should include name, address, phone number, bid amount and signature. The village reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidders must make payment within 7 days of acceptance and remove the property within 14 days.
