CITY OF CLARKSBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE APPROVING BOUNDARY AMENDMENT PROJECT PLAN AMENDMENT AND TRANSFER OF TIF FUND MONIES FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT A public hearing will be held at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Clarksburg (the “City Council”) on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time or as soon thereafter as such item may be considered at such Council meeting, in the Council Chambers of the Clarksburg Municipal Building, located at 222 West Main Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia, and at such hearing any person interested may appear before the City Council and present comments, protests and suggestions. All comments, protests and suggestions shall be heard by the City Council and it shall then take such actions as it shall deem proper in the premises regarding an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF BOUNDARIES OF A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF CLARKSBURG KNOWN AS “CITY OF CLARKSBURG REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1”; APPROVING AN AMENDED PROJECT PLAN ASSOCIATED WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. The above-entitled Ordinance has been adopted on first reading by City Council at a meeting of Council held on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The above-quoted title of the Ordinance describes generally the contents thereof and the actions contemplated thereby. The City contemplates enactment of said Ordinance. The Ordinance provides the final approvals necessary for the City to amend the boundaries of City of Clarksburg Redevelopment District No. 1 (the “TIF District”), approve an amended project plan for the TIF District, approve the transfer of monies on deposit in the TIF Fund for the TIF District to escrow funds in support of the Waldo and Goff redevelopment projects and related matters.
