PUBLIC NOTICE Power Transmission Line Upgrades May Result in Delays on Armstrong Creek Road and WV Route 61 near Kimberly, WV Brookfield Renewable N.A., owner and operator of the Hawks Nest Hydro, LLC, is issuing this public notice to advise drivers in the region of potential delays on Armstrong Creek Road and WV Route 61 in the coming weeks due to planned upgrades to the power transmission lines. Armstrong Creek Road and WV Route 61 The upgrade project is scheduled to begin on April 13, 2026, and is expected to continue through June 19, 2026. During this period, drivers may experience periodic delays as heavy equipment and materials are transported to the project area. Transport of major components required for the upgrade will occur both by helicopter and by over-the-road trucking. Every effort will be made to minimize impacts to morning commutes, school bus routes, and other regular traffic patterns.
