In compliance with WV Code 11AQ-3-3, any Person claiming a lien against taxable real property
Located in Marion County must file a lien holder Statement with the Marion County Sheriff's Tax Office, in order to receive notification of taxes due Prior to the Sheriff's Tax Lien Sale.
Lien holder statements must be
received in the
Tax Office, PO Box 1348,
Fairmont WV 26555-1348,
By August 15, 2026.
If you have a lien holder statement on file, it is Not necessary to file
another statement unless the lien information has changed.
