AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that Keyrock Energy LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Construction Permit for a mine gas flaring facility located in Boone, West Virginia, 2.2 miles east of the town of Orgas. The latitude and longitude coordinates for the facility (S8-1) are: 38 03’21.70″N, 81 31’54.99″W The purpose of the pollution control facility is to abate emissions of harmful Greenhouse Gases into the atmosphere. The facility will reduce emissions by the equivalent of over 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year of operation. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants to be: NOx – 21.5 ton/year; CO – 11.5 ton/year. Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 17th day of August 2026. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
