DARLENA HATFIELD, RICHARD HATFILED,BETTY JOSEPHINE HATFIELD,DefendantsORDER OF PUBLICATION The object of the above-entitled action is to condemn part of the land owned by Respondents for public use. The land is more particularly described as follows: All that certain parcel of ground situate near the Cross Roads, in Guyandotte District, Cabell County, West Virginia, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a persimmon tree, the same being the southeast corner of Lot 3, of the Parkland Subdivision, a copy of the map of the said subdivision being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Court of Cabell County, West Virginia, on June 5, 1954, in Map Book 5, page 100; thence S. 10 W. 210 feet to a maple; thence S 8 45' W. 138 feet to a stake, which said stake bears S. 71 30' E. 25 feet from the northeast corner of the old Harvey Shelton residence; thence S. 19 15' W. 129 feet to a walnut; thence S. 21 45' W. 180 feet to a triple maple; thence S. 69 W. 687 feet to a stake; thence N. 11 38' E. 937.26 feet to a point; thence S. 86 20' E. 620.34 feet to the place of beginning. RESERVING, HOWEVER, from the above described property a 15 foot easement along the northerly line. It appearing by affidavit filed in this action that the Petitioner, herein, has used due diligence to ascertain the whereabouts of the Respondents without success, it is ORDERED, that Defendants, above named, serve upon Cait Daniel, Petitioner's attorney, whose address is 1002 Third Avenue, P.O. Box 1835, Huntington, West Virginia 25719, an answer or other defense to the Application of the Huntington Sanitary Board to Condemn Land for Public Use filed in this action on or before the 10th day of July, 2026, otherwise judgment by default will be taken against Respondents at any time thereafter.
