PUBLIC NOTICE CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN FOR PETROLEUM IMPACTED SITE PUBLIC NOTICE NO.: 1 DATE OF PUBLICATION: 07/02/2026 NOTIFICATION TYPE: The Exponent Telegram In response to a release of petroleum products from regulated tanks, the property owner/operator under the direction of the Tanks Corrective Action Unit of the Department of Environmental Protection developed a revised corrective action plan (CAP) for the following site: Circle K#4005 1525 West Pike Street Clarksburg, West Virginia 26301 WV ID #1-701668; LEAK ID#11-045 The revised CAP briefly describes an unleaded gasoline release which was identified on July 19, 2011 during an environmental site assessment. To treat remaining impacts, an oxygen release compound sock will be placed in affected wells. If necessary, in-situ chemical oxidation persulfate injections will be completed.
