Roadway Improvement Project
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Sally Field Estates Roadway Improvements, project will be received by City of Fairmont, at 200 Jackson Street, until 12:00 PM local time on Wednesday, August 12th, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project will take place in the area of Sally Field Estates within the City of Fairmont limits and shall contain all specified site work for the removal and replacement of approximately 365 linear foot of stormwater line, modification and reset of 12 existing Type A inlets, approximately 1200 square yards of asphalt milling and subgrade prep, saw-cut and base repair (utilizing flowable fill concrete) of 760 square yards of concrete pavement, demolition and replacement of 122 linear foot of asphalt curbing, approximately 900 tons of asphalt paving, and other work within the City of Fairmont limits as indicated on the drawings.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, July 28th at the J Harper Meredith Building located at 200 Jackson Street, 1st floor, Alan Babcock Conference Room. A site visit will follow for interested parties. Travel directions to the site will be provided at the pre-bid conference.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
