FORFEITURE
The object of this suit is to seek an Order forfeiting the herein-described seized property pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act, West Virginia Code, Section 60A-7-701 et seq .
You have the right to file a claim or interest in the 2019 HONDA ACCORD, VIN
#1HGCV1F48KA077860, which was used to transport and sell controlled substances. Said vehicle was owned by and registered to Michael Anthony Hunter and was in the possession of Michael Anthony Hunter. The said 2019 HONDA ACCORD, VIN
#1HGCV1F48KA077860 was seized by the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force on September 16, 2025 in Ohio County, West Virginia.
Pursuant to W.Va. Code Section 60A-7-705a(d), the confiscated 2019 HONDA ACCORD, VIN #1HGCV1F48KA077860, is subject to forfeiture unless you file a written notice contesting this forfeiture on or before July 30, 2026, or not less than thirty days from the date of the first publication of this Notice, whichever is longer. Any such claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process may be served upon said claimant.
Let it be known that anyone seeking a copy of the Petition in this matter may obtain a copy of said Petition from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia.
After the date for filing of any said claims(s) has passed, an order of the Court directing forfeiture of the seized property and vesting ownership of said property in the State shall be sought and may be entered by the Court
If you fail to file a claim the Court may enter an Order granting the relief demanded in the instant Petition.
