ORDER OF PUBLICATION

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The purpose of this action is to quiet title to real property situated in Town of Alderson District, Monroe County, West Virginia and lying and being on the South Side of the Greenbrier River and bounded as follows to wit:

Beginning at a small black oak on the river bank at the lower ford, S. 21 W 49 poles to white oak comer to George Alderson and G. V. Perry and with latter, S 66 W. 43 1/2 poles to a double poplar comer to same and James Alderson's tract, deceased, N 44 1/2 E51 1/2 [poles] to small mulberry, N 6 W 23 poles to a buckeye Sugar Tree on the bank of the river corner to Lane's heirs and up the river N 87 E 24 poles to the beginning and supposed to contain 5 1/2 acres. (Subject Property)

Interests in the property were acquired by known heirs at law of Leonidas S. Alley, aka L. S. Alley, Sue C. Jarrett, Nancy C. Thompson, and Stanford W. Jones by the following deeds of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Monroe County, West Virginia: I) Deed Book 286, Page 44; 2) Deed Book 285, Page 46; 3) Deed Book 289, Page 30; and 4) Deed Book 289, Page 305. Due to the passage of time and death of heirs in various states, Leonidas S. Alley may have additional heirs that have an interest in property whose identity and whereabouts are unknown at the time of the filing of this civil action. The known heirs intend to sell the property and filed this civil action to quiet title to the property.

It appearing that the identity and whereabouts of any additional heirs are presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED that notice of hearing be published to provide notice to any additional heirs of Leonidas S. Alley to appear in the Court of the Honorable Amy Mann, Judge of the Circuit Court of Monroe County, West Virginia, for a hearing on the Petition for Declaratory Judgment to Quiet Title on August 6, 2026 at 1:00 pm of that day and object or make other defenses, to the civil complaint, otherwise, their interest in the real property being described as 5 1/2 acres in Town of Alderson District, Monroe County, West Virginia will be extinguished and title to said property shall be quieted.

A copy of said civil complaint can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at his office located at 350 Main Street, Union, WV 24983.
