PETITION FOR FORFEITURE
The object of this suit is to seek an Order forfeiting the herein described property pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act, Chapter 60A, Article 7, Section 701 through 707, et. seq., as amended.
To: Any claimant of a right or
interest in said property
You have the right to file a claim to the herein described property on or before the 14th day of September, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Any such claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon said claimant. The property sought to be seized and subject of this suit is described as follows: THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVEN AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($3,307.50) IN U.S. CURRENCY; 2025 POLARIS RZR XP 4 1000 VIN. #3NSNME992SF044836; 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS COUPE 2D VIN. #1G1FH1R77K0143418; AND ASSORTED DRUG CONTRABAND.
The law enforcement agencies responsible for this Petition for Forfeiture is the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
The seizure of THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVEN AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($3,307.50) IN US CURRENCY was made on March 25, 2026 during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 460 westbound.
The seizure of 2025 POLARIS RZR XP 4 1000 #3NSNME992SF044836 AND ASSORTED DRUG CONTRABAND was made on March 25, 2026 during a search at the residence located at 93 Duncan Rd, Princeton, West Virginia 24739.
The seizure of 2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS COUPE 2D VIN. #1G1FH1R77K0143418 AND ASSORETED DRUG CONTRABAND was made on March 25, 2026 during a search made at the residence located at 94 Duncan Rd, Princeton, West Virginia 24739.
That the above listed Respondent property was in the possession of Chanlier Blake Thomas.
That after the date for filing of said claims, an Order of the Court directing forfeiture of the seized property to the State and vesting ownership of said property shall be sought.
If you fail to file a claim, thereafter an Order, upon proper herein, may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.
A copy of said petition can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at her office.
