Notice is hereby given to the unknown father of a baby boy born on January 27, 2016, at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV, and any other interested persons claiming to be the natural father of the baby boy, that a hearing will be held before the Honorable James P. Mazzone, Judge, Frist Judicial Circuit, Ohio County Courthouse, Wheeling, West Virginia and in that hearing the Court will be requested to terminate your parental rights, change the child’s name and grant the adoption of the baby boy to the Petitioners, as requested in a Petition for adoption filed in the Ohio County Circuit Court, Wheeling, West Virginia on February 22, 2016. The date and time of the hearing can be obtained by contacting the Ohio County Circuit Clerk at 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 or Attorney Ryan C. Rokisky at 3200 Main Street Weirton, WV 26062. Your parental rights may be terminated as a result of not appearing.
To now protect your rights YOU MUST announce your intention to defend your parental rights by filing with the Ohio Circuit Clerk at 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 within 30 day of the first publication of this Notice any written objection to the termination of your parental rights and to the adoption of Baby Boy by the Petitioners.
Again, you are cautioned that if you fail to appear at the hearing in which the termination of your parental rights and the adoption of the baby boy will be decided by the Court your parental rights may be terminated and the adoption of the baby boy may be granted to the petitioners.
Your written response should be addressed to the Ohio County Circuit Clerk, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
