The Housing Authority of the city of Weirton, West Virginia, will receive sealed bids for the CFP Modernization: Asphalt Overlay at Overbrook Towers Senior High Rise located at Overbrook Towers 525 Cove Road Weirton WV 26062 Monday July 25, 2016 at 11:00am, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The aforementioned scope of work will be let under (1) contract
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained upon receipt from Weirton Housing Authority, 525 Cove Road, Weirton WV 26062 telephone (304)797-8530 between 8:00am and 3:00pm.
A Pre bid Conference will be held at 11:00am July 18, 2016, at the Housing Authority of the City of Weirton Administrative offices at 525 Cove Road Weirton WV 26062. The scope and details of the proposed project work will be discussed. Attendance is recommended.
A certified check or Bank Draft, payable to the Weirton Housing Authority, Par value U.S Government Bonds of a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid

The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (60) days subsequent to the opening bids without consent of the Housing Authority.
Sealed bids are to be submitted to the attention of Mr. George B. Vargo, Executive Director/ Contracting officer at 525 Cove Road, Weirton, WV 26062. All bid packages shall be identified as “ASPHALT BID”, clearly marked on the envelope.
