Expression Of Interest For Architectural/Engineering Services
Pursuant to WV Code 5G-1-3, the Tyler County Board of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified design professions to provide Architectural/ Engineering Services to include design and construction phase administration for:
1. The Tyler Consolidated MS/HS Envelope and Masonry Corrections Project funded by School Building Authority of West Virginia and Tyler County Schools.
2. Any emergency projects due to water, fire and weather.
3. As funds become available for non-SBA funded work Tyler County Schools is interested in provisions for architectural and engineering services toward fulfillment of building and ground renovation, additions and upgrades. This commitment will be re-evaluated on an annual basis but could be for up to five (5) years for county funded projects
4. Any other SBA funded project not listed must to be competitively interviewed upon funding.
Architectural firms are invited to submit their expressions of interest to include 6 packets statement of qualifications, performance data, and other pertinent information no later than Friday, August 5, 2016, 4:00 p.m., at the office of the Board of Education of Tyler County located at Tyler County Schools, P.O. at the Tyler County Board of Education Office to obtain a copy of the Statement of Qualifications and conduct interviews with at least three firms being deemed the most qualified. The firms will be ranked and the recommendation by the selection team will be made to the board of education. The Tyler County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all statements received and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Tyler County Schools and in accordance with WV Code Section 5G-1-3.
