PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED The Putnam County Planning Commission met Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 7:00 p.m. and held a public hearing regarding the following: Timothy N. Spradling has applied for a Zoning Amendment Application for Rezoning for properties located on Tax Map 222, Parcels 40.4 & 41 and Tax Map 222G, Parcel 139, which are located at 1006 & 1012 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane, WV further including Tax Map 222, Part of Parcel 40 to rezone the property from R-1: Single-family Residential to C-1: Suburban Commercial District. The Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the application to the Putnam County Commission. The Putnam County Commission will hold a public hearing and received the recommendation of the Planning Commission for the application on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, 9:30 a.m. in Commission Chambers of the Putnam County Courthouse, 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV.
