Sealed Bids for the Greenbrier West High School Bleacher Replacement will be received by the Greenbrier County Schools, located at 202 Chestnut Street, Lewisburg, WV, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, until 1:00 p.m., L.P.T., on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by The Thrasher Group, Inc. Immediately fol-lowing the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids, all proposals which have been submitted in ac-cordance with the conditions of the Contract Documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A description of the Work to be Bid follows: Demolition of existing wood and steel bleachers system in gym-nasium. Provide new motorized bleacher system.
The Work will be substantially complete by July 3, 2017 with final completion by July 31, 2017. Liquidated damages shall be $750.00 per day.

Complete sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of The Thrasher Group, Inc., 600 White Oaks Boulevard, Bridgeport, WV 26330, for the following costs:
• Bidding Documents issued as hard copy drawings and hard copy specifications are available for $100 per set.
• Bidding Documents issued as digital drawings and digital specifications on a CD are available for $30 per set.
Amounts paid are not subject to refund.
A two envelope system will be used.
Envelope No. 1 must have the following information presented on the front:

Received by the Greenbrier County Schools
Envelope No. 2 labeled “Bid Pro-posal” shall also be placed inside of Envelope #1.
Envelope No. 1 will be opened first and the Bid Opening Requirement items checked for compliance as outlined on the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR – 1 of these contract documents. If such documents are found to be in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal”, will then be opened and will be publicly read aloud. If the documents required to be contained in Envelope No. 1 are not in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal” will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder.
Bidders may not withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of Bids.
Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, payable to Greenbrier County Schools, in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the Total Bid.
Bidders are required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in ac-cordance with WV Code 21-1D-5.
Bidders shall certify receipt of worker verification that each employee of the Prime Contractor and its Subcontractors that may have access to students or the school property has legal employment status, is not required to register as a sex offender, and can produce a valid picture ID to substantiate their name and current address in accordance with WV Code 21-1B-4 and WV Code 15-12-2.
Bidders are required to have a WV Contractor’s License per WV Code 21-11-11.
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders.
Greenbrier County Schools reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at Greenbrier West High School, located at One Cavalier Drive, Charmco, WV, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., L.P.T.
