NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE
OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY
(Leslie United Methodist Church, which merged with Bellburn United
Methodist Church in 2008)
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after October 18, 2017 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to MOBILE CARE MINISTRY, INC., all of their right, title and interest, in and to the following lots or parcels of surface land, together with all improvements thereon and easements and appurtenances thereto appertaining, situate at Leslie, Meadow Bluff District, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, and being more particularly described as follows:
TRACT ONE:
All of that certain lot or parcel of surface land, together with all improvements thereon and easements and appurtenances thereto appertaining, situate at Leslie, Meadow Bluff District, Green-brier County, West Virginia, more particularly known and described as Lot No. 102 of the “LESLIE SUBDIVISION A”, as shown upon a map of said subdivision of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County, West Virginia in Map Book 2 a Page 57; together with the right to use in common with the owners of the other lots shown on said map, the streets, alleys and ways therein and thereon set forth.
And being the same property conveyed from Clark O’Dell, Vermont Blevins and Bus Carnifax, as Trutees of the Leslie Community Church to Clark O’Dell, Vermont Blevin and Bus Carnifax, as Trustee of the United Methodist Church, Leslie, West Virginia by Deed dated the 16th day of July, 1968 and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County, West Virginia in Deed Book 245, at page 748.
TRACT TWO:
All of that certain lot or parcel of real estate conveyed to D. M. Bostic by Deed dated April 7, 1965 from Paul C. Hogsett, Clerk of the County Court of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County, West Virginia in Deed Book 227, at page 420 and described as being Part of Lot Number 103 of the Leslie Subdivision A as shown in Map Book Number 2 at page 57 situate in Meadow Bluff District, Greenbrier County, West Virginia as fully described in surveyor’s report which is made a part of the aforesaid Deed, reference to which Deed is hereby made for all pertinent purposes.
And being the same property conveyed from Virginia Bostic to Trustees of Leslie United Methodist Church by Deed dated the 9th day of September, 1993 and of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 420, at page 837.
Said Leslie United Methodist Church having been closed by the regular 2017 session of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
