Notice of Public Hearing OCTOBER 16, 2017
Lewisburg Historic Landmarks Commission will meet Monday, October 16, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. in regular session in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chamber, located at 942 Washington Street West, Lewisburg, West Virginia, to hear the following applications.
1. Agenda: Call to Order.
2. Approval of the Minutes: September 11, 2017.
3. Comments from the Public:
5 minute length.
4. Public Hearing: Elinor Buys, 598 Court Street, addition 12×12 on the south side of the house with matching estate gray roofing, add additional wrap round deck 12×24 on the west side. All second floor windows will be replaced with matching windows (Anderson series E.), paint the exterior of the house, upbeat and the exposed rafters maiden hair.
5. Public Hearing: Charles Hughes, 238 Echols Lane, replace existing roof with Owens Corning architectural shingles, eastern gray in color.
6. Public Hearing: Colin Rose, 472 South Lafayette Street, paint the exterior of the house, body of the house deep maroon, porch columns, classic French gray, and the roof brackets molding and rafters Rookwood dark red.
7. Public Hearing: Carnegie Hall, 105 Church Street, Eagle Scout project, build a kiosk for informational material for upcoming events.
8. AmeriCorp Vista volunteer:
Aleah Boise.
9. Zoning Officer:
Chuck Smith, updates.
* Old Stone Presbyterian Church,
644 Church Street, downspout changes.
* Next meeting November 13, 2017, with a deadline of October 27, 2017.
