Invitation to Bid
The Owner of The Laing Humphries & Co. / Citizens Bank Building is requesting bids for window restoration and woodwork repairs to their historic property in Hinton, WV.
The Project includes:
1. The repair/restoration of approximately 65 existing historic wood windows.
The project completion date is no later than June 30, 2019 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon 1. Cost 2. Experience with similar historic preservation projects, and 3. Proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
The bid package is available by calling (304) 228-3743. The property will be open for a mandatory pre-bid walk through on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m..
All bids must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., November 6, 2018.
