WHEELING HOUSING AUTHORITY, WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA will receive sealed bids for it’s FY2018 CAPITAL FUND PROGRAM – WINDOW REPLACEMENT PROJECT until 10:00 AM EST on the 1st day of May, 2019, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work consists of the replacement of existing windows and all related work for a complete system. Contractors must have 5 years minimum experience and 10 successful projects in Hi Rise Window Replacement.

Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained and questions and comments resolved at the office of the Architect, ADKINS DESIGN, Inc.1522 Clearview Heights, Charleston, WV 25312 (304) 984-2415, upon payment of a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. Each bidder is required to purchase one set of bid documents to insure that they possess the most current and complete set of drawings and Project Manual. A Prebid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on EST the 11th day of April, 2019 at the Project Site located at 1208 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV. The scope and details of the proposed work will be covered. Attendance is recommended. Site visitation is mandatory and will be conducted immediately after the prebid meeting.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to Wheeling Housing Authority Par Value U. S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
