LINTEL REPLACEMENT
THRASHER PROJECT #060-10041
Sealed Bids for Improvements to Four Seasons Swimming Pool Building; Re-Roofing and Lintel Replacement will be received by the City of Moundsville, located at 800 6th Street, Moundsville, West Virginia, until 1:00 p.m., E.S.T., on July 25, 2019 for furnishing labor and materials and per forming all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by The Thrasher Group, Inc. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of the Contract Documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Scope of Work to be Bid upon is as follows:
Removal and replacement of existing lintels, associated flashing and limited masonry work above windows, and removal and replacement of existing EPDM roof and roof accessories on the Main Building.
The Work shall be deemed Substantially Complete on or before November 6, 2019 and completed for final payment on or before November 20, 2019. Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day.

Complete sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of The Thrasher Group, Inc., 600 White Oaks Boulevard, P. O. Box 940, Bridgeport, WV 26330, for the following costs:
*Bidding Documents issued as hard copy drawings and hard copy specifications are available for $50 per set.
*Bidding Documents issued as digital drawings and digital specifications on a C.D., are available for $25per set.
Amounts paid are not subject to refund.
A two-envelope system will be used.
Envelope No. 1 shall have the following information presented on the front:
Name and address of Bidder
Bid for: Improvements to Four Seasons Swimming Pool Building.
Received by the City of Moundsville.
Envelope No. 2 labeled “Bid Proposal” shall be placed inside of Envelope #1.
Envelope No. 1 will be opened and the Bid Opening Requirement items checked for compliance with the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR – 1 of the Contract Documents. If such documents are found to be in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal”, will be opened and publicly read aloud. If the required documents in Envelope No. 1 are not in order, Envelope No. 2 “Bid Proposal” will not be opened, and the Bid will be considered non- responsive and be returned to the Bidder.
A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of Bids.
Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the City of Moundsville, in an amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the Total Bid.
Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5.
All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor’s License per Section Section 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code.
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders.
The City of Moundsville reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Moundsville, located at 800 6th Street, Moundsville, West Virginia, on July 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., E.S.T.
