PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Rupert will receive sealed bids for the following surplus equipment until 4:00 p.m., EST on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. All equipment will be sold “as is”.
Trailer – 6.5’ x 12’Singe Axle Trailer, 3500 lb load capacity
Boards and tires need replaced.
Cummins Tan Generator – Model 4B 3.9-GL, 60 HZ 1800 RPM
Last ran two years ago.
Onan Grey Generator – Model 30DL6L33419E, 60 HZ 1800 RPM
Last ran two years ago.
Cruiser – 2006 Ford Crown Victoria
Engine slightly knocks and needs battery.
The trailer and generators can be inspected at the Rupert Water Plant, 251 Cranberry Ave, Rupert and the cruiser can be inspected at Rupert Town Hall, 528 Nicholas Street, Rupert, WV. 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Bids must be sent or submitted to the Town of Rupert, P.O. Drawer B, 528 Nicholas Street, Rupert, WV, 25984 by the above date and time. All sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the item being bid upon. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
All bids received will be publicly opened in the order in which they are received. The Town of Rupert reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to make award on the bid which in their opinion serves the best interest of the Town of Rupert. The winning bid must be paid in full within seven (7) days of bid closing prior to release of equipment and/or titles if applicable.
