NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Common Council for the City of Beckley is accepting bids from qualified firms for the demolition and disposal of a City owned building at the NE corner of Earwood Street and Woodlawn Avenue. Also bids for demolition and disposal of a City owned building at the corner of Johnstown Road and Kiser Street are requested. The bids will be considered separately.
Complete specifications and bid information may be obtained from the City of Beckley at 409 South Kanawha Street or by calling (304) 256-1768, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. They will be publicly opened and read aloud during a meeting of Common Council at 6:30 p.m. that same day. Bids must be submitted to the Recorder-Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked to indicate contents. Bids may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street, or mailed PO Box 2514, Beckley, WV 25802-2514. Any bids that arrive after the specified date and time will not be considered.
The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
