REQUEST FOR BIDS
The RALEIGH COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY is currently seeking bids for one 4 Wheeled Landfill Compactor. Compactor must be new and of the most current model. Machine must meet or exceed the following minimum specifications. Machine must weigh a minimum of 88,000 lbs., minimum 415 gross hp and must meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emission standards. No spin front and rear. Must be equipped with a semi u blade with a minimum of 20 yard capacity, swing out stairway on both sides of machine, striker bars with cleaning fingers, and axle wrapping and seal guarding. Enclosed cab with heat, AC, am/fm radio with bluetooth, mounted and working 40 channel cb radio with antenna, mounted fire extinguisher, rear view camera with in cab monitor and mounted strobe light with an in cab on/off switch. Must have a 120 volt engine block heater with plug, outside work lights for night time operation. Bids must include an itemized price for all available wheel and tip options and machine warranty options (standard and extended). Must include a paper back and disc service and parts manuals. Location of parts and service distribution and machine availability. Bids must be sealed and marked “Landfill Compactor”. Any questions should be directed to Travis Kiblinger at (304) 255-9335. Bids will be accepted until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019. Bids will be opened on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 1:35 p.m. at The RALEIGH COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY office at 200 Fernandez Drive, Beckley, WV 25801. The RCSWA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
