NOTICE
Applications for the Civil Service Examination and Physical Agility Test for Raleigh County Deputy Sheriff will be available beginning September 16, 2019. Applications must be picked up and returned to the County Clerk’s Office in the Raleigh County Courthouse. All persons interested in this position must make application before October 11, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.. There is a $5,000.00 signing bonus for certified law enforcement applicants who complete the hiring process. New commuting policy is department issued vehicles can be taken home up to 45 miles of the Raleigh County line. The tests will be scheduled at a later date. The Civil Service Commission has adopted an Affirmative Action Plan and we encourage all minorities who are interested to apply. Equal Opportunity Employer.
