REQUESTS FOR BIDS
WEST ALEXANDER WATER STORAGE TANK REPLACEMENT
Sealed bids will be received by The Ohio County Development Authority at its office at 546 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, West Virginia 26059 until October 17, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. local time when said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the construction of the following project: West Alexander Water Storage Tank Replacement. This project includes construction of a 31-foot diameter by 38-foot tall, 209,000 gallon bolted glass-fused to steel ground storage standpipe.

Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Engineer; Vaughn, Coast & Vaughn, Inc., 154 South Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 (740) 695-7256, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to Ohio County Development Authority, 546 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, Virginia 26059 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for the West Alexander Water Storage Tank Replacement. All Bids must include a Bid Bond equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds equal to one hundred percent (100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the contract amount.
The Authority reserves the right: to accept or reject any and all bids; to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals; to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project; and to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the project.
