Invitation To Bid
MountainPlex Properties, LLC is requesting bids for a roof replacement at for the Historic Laing Humphries/Citizens Bank Building in Hinton, WV.
The project includes:
1. The removal and disposal of the existing roof
2. Repair/replacement of inferior decking materials
3. The installation of a membrane roof
4. The installation of gutters and downspouts
5. The installation of metal coping along parapets.
6. The installation of pre-manufactured roof hatches.
The project completion date is no later than May 30, 2020 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation

The property will be open for a mandatory pre-bid walk-through at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. All bids must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Partial funds for this project are through the WV State Historic Preservation Office. All applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations apply.
