NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES
On November 26, 2014, Adrian Public Service District (Utility) filed an application with the Public Service Commission to9 increase its rates for providing water service to approximately 1,898 customers in Upshur and Randolph Counties.
The Staff of the Commission has reviewed the application and recommended increased rates. The current and Staff-recommended rates are as follows:

The Utility currently has two projects undergoing, one to replace and refurbish certain water tanks and one to extend its distribution lines to serve additional customers. The Staff-recommended post-project rates follow:

The Staff-recommended rates generate an increase in revenue of about 7.3{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. Both projects have previously been approved by the Commission including their rate impacts. The recommendations in this proceeding simply carry forward the immediate rate increase into the post- project rates.
Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. 0. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. Anyone desiring a hearing in this matter should demand a hearing in the letter of protest. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to the reasons for the protest. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest.
If no substantial protest is filed, the Staff-recommended rates may be approved without a hearing.
