NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power Company plans to manage vegetation along the Central Avenue – Central Avenue, Central Avenue – Edgewood, and Central Avenue – Grant St. portions of its 12 kilovolt distribution system in Kanawha county, WV. On or about March 9th, 2020, contract crews will begin to apply herbicides where applicable along our rights-of-way. Rights-of-way in this area involved in the program are: Virginia St. W., Washington St. W., Edgewood Dr., Dartmouth Ave., Central Ave., Grant St., Virginia St. E., and many other roads branching from and in the vicinity of those roads. Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property. Specifics regarding your property may be discussed at that time.
