NOTICE OF SALE Notice is hereby given as is required by the provisions set forth in West Virginia Code 35-1-1, et seq., “Property of Religious, Educational and Charitable Organizations,” that W. Randolph Fife, M. Sharon King, James E. Robinson, Leonard J. Timms, and Bonnie Boyce, Trustees for the Presbytery of West Virginia of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will be sold and conveyed to the Trustees of The Risen King Church or Risen King Church, Corp., Hurricane, West Virginia on or after March 18, 2020, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00), cash in hand paid, and other good and valuable considerations, the following described parcel of land situated in or near the Town of Hurricane in Curry District, Putnam County, West Virginia: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set in the northerly right of way line of U.S. Route 60, common corner between the herein described and conveyed tract and PARCEL NO. A as described in that certain deed between Western Hills Partnership and Ohio District The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Inc., dated March 3, 1981, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Putnam County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 257, at Page 285; thence with said northerly right of way line, S. 89 42′ 55” W. 390.09 feet to a rebar set in concrete; thence continuing with said northerly right of way line of U. S. Route 60 and then with part of the common division line of Section Three of Western Hills Addition to the Town of Hurricane and lands now or formerly owned by Charles K. Raines and others, N. 63 15′ W. 94.03 feet to a point in said common division line (which point is located N. 63 15′ W. 6.03 feet from an iron pin in said common division line); thence N. 24 46′ E. 723.53 feet to a point located in the southerly right of way line of Cline Avenue (which point is located N. 52 19′ 38″ W. 6.17 feet from an iron pin, which iron pin is in said southerly right of way line of Cline Avenue at the common corner of Section Five and Section Six of Western Hills Addition to the Town of Hurricane); thence with said southerly right of way line of Cline Avenue, S. 52 19′ 38″ E. 301.17 feet to an iron pipe in said southerly right of way line of Cline Avenue, a common corner between the herein described and conveyed tract and said PARCEL NO. A in said deed dated March 3, 1981; thence by three courses and distances, common division lines between said two last mentioned parcels: thence S. 37 40′ 22″ W. 120.00 feet to an iron pipe: thence S. 23 38′ 12″ W. 41.23 feet to an iron pipe; thence S. 03 30′ 47″ E. 378.93 feet to the iron pipe at the place of beginning, and BEING all of Section Five, a portion of Section Three and a portion of Section Six of Western Hills Addition to the Town of Hurricane, containing 5.01 acres, more or less, all as shown on a map entitled “Plat of Survey Showing A 0.05 Acre Portion of Section Six, Section 5 & A 0.83 Acre Portion of Section 3 of the Western Hills Addition” dated June 30, 1981, revised August 26, 1981, revised August 31, 1981, and revised September 17, 1981, prepared by George A. Cicoff, P.E., which said map was attached to the deed from Western Hills Partnership to Alex E. Booth, Jr., dated September 17, 1981, and is of record in said Clerk’s office in Deed Book No. 260 at Pages 28, 29, and 30. AND BEING the same property conveyed to James J. Rowe, Margaret S. Debnam, M. Sharon King, James E. Robinson, Alyson A. Dotson, and William B. Riley, Jr., Trustees for the Presbytery of West Virginia, from John D. Anderson and Jerry Philip Brown, Trustees for the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, by deed dated March 21, 2018, and recorded March 28, 2018 in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Putnam County, West Virginia in Deed Book 565, at page 318.
