NOTICE
Sealed bids for Marshall County Courthouse Roof Replacement Project at Moundsville, WV, will be received in the Marshall County Courthouse, PO Box 459 / 600 7th Street, Room 106, Moundsville, West Virginia, 26041 on Tuesday March 31, 2020 at 9:00 am. All complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:15am at the County Commission meeting that morning.
All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to:

The project involves re-roofing of the Marshall County Courthouse Building.
Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to Rachel Driggs:

and a Bid Package will be emailed. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are non-refundable.
A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance, Labor and Material Payment, and Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award.
All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held in the Marshall County Commission Chambers on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. e.s.t. All contractors must attend the Pre-Bid meeting in order to be qualified to bid the project.
After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
