Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Buzz Food Service Office by 4:00 pm EST, April 7, 2020 and must be addressed as follows: Proposal for Appalachian Abattoir Kill Floor Attn: Annie Stroud, Project Manager Buzz Food Service 4818 Kanawha Blvd. East Charleston, WV 25306 Bidders submitting proposals are to design, provide and install kill floor equipment and carcass railing as part of the Appalachian Abattoir building project. The Owner will select one Bidder to provide and install equipment for the kill floor as described in the specifications. The Bidder remains solely responsible for ensuring that its Proposal is received before the date and time due. Late proposals will be returned unopened/unread (see below). Please include the cost proposal and fee structure on its own page. Notes: All submissions MUST be delivered by the deadline or the submission may be considered late and disqualified. Proposals must include a drawing/layout for the proposed design, specifications, pictures if available, for each component. Bids must include the cost of the equipment, freight, design assistance and labor separately. All delivery, assembly, installation and supervision costs must be included in the proposal. Payment for equipment and materials will be sent within sixty (60) days after delivery and assembly/installation and invoicing of the kill floor equipment. All proposal amounts shall be guaranteed for not less than sixty (60) days after the proposal submittal deadline date. No proposal may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. Prices shall include delivery f.o.b., freight paid by the bidder to the jobsite. The Bidder must submit Two (2) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy, on a CD or USB flash drive, of the proposal to the address listed above. All Proposals must comply with the specifications and guidelines provided in this document. The Owner is an EEO/AA, M/F, and V/H Employer. A Public Bid Opening will be held at 4pm on April 7, 2020, at Buzz Food Service 4818 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston WV. This meeting will be open to the public. Any objections to published specifications and or clarifying questions must be filed in written form with the Owner prior to the Expression of Interest (EOI) to Bid date of 5:00 p.m. March 25, 2020.
