Notice is hereby given that EASTERN ASPHALT PRODUCTS, LLC, PO BOX 884, BECKLEY, WV 25802 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for the quarrying of approximately 29.39 acres in order to quarry Sandstone.
The proposed operation will discharge into Bearhole Fork of the Guyandotte River and is located 3.11 miles northeast of Pineville in Center District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81deg. 29′ 25.1″ and Latitude 37deg. 36′ 15.8″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Surface of the area to be mined is owned by Pocahontas Land Corporation, PO Box 514, 800 Princeton Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701 and the mineral to be mined is owned by Pocahontas Land Corporation, PO Box 514, 800 Princeton Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701.
The source of the applicant’s legal right to ender and conduct operations on the land to be covered by this application is by Lease.
