ADVERTISEMENT AND REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPECIAL INSPECTIONS The Clay County Board of Education is seeking Statements of Qualification for Special Inspection Services for the Renovations and Addition to Clay County High School. Services shall include special Inspections for the following construction types as defined in the 2015 International Building Code and the references within: 1. Cold-formed Steel Deck Construction 2. Open-web Steel Joist and Joist Girders 3. Steel Construction 4. Soils Construction The Special Inspection Firm shall be qualified to perform inspections for each of the construction types listed above in accordance with Section 1704.2.1 of the 2015 International Building Code. All applicable requirements of Chapter 17 of the 2015 International Building Code shall be met by the Special Inspection Firm. Qualified Firms should submit their Statement of Qualifications to Jennifer Paxton at the Clay County Board of Education.
