NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING
COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BECKLEY
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 2nd of June 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in Common Council Chambers of the Beckley Municipal Building, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, RaleighCounty, West Virginia, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following:
1. The petition of Leasing & Records Management, LLC., Julian Chipley, owner, CentecEngineering, PLLC, agent, requesting SITE PLANapproval to create 20 parking spaces in an O/R, Office/Residential Transitional Zone located at 1548 Harper Road (Tax Map 7, Parcel 125).
2. The City of Beckley Zoning Ordinance Section 15-22 (a) proposed amendment by adding dance studios as a permitted use in a “M” Manufacturing Zone.
3. The City of Beckley Zoning Ordinance proposed amendment to add and modify definitions and creating land use categories relating to the growing, processing and distribution of medical cannabis.
