NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Oak Hill will receive sealed bids until 3:00 p.m. on June 8, 2020 for inspection, Asbestos abatement, and demolition of the structure located at 101 Boley St., described as Lot 103 Boley SD Rev and Pt 102, District 9, Map 8A, Parcel 91, Parid 09 8A0910000000 owned by Alva & Brittany Mendiola.
We request proposals be mailed to City of Oak Hill, Attn: Demolition Proposal, 100 Kelly Ave., Oak Hill, WV 25901. Or, feel free to use our drop box beside the Sanitary Board Office door at 100 Kelly Ave. Sealed proposals will be opened publicly at the Oak Hill City Council meeting on June 8, 2020 at or shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Each bidder must submit a WV contractor license, and liability insurance (minimum limit of $1,000,000.00). Contractors will adhere to all local, state, and federal law and shall follow all State and Federal Asbestos and other hazardous waste regulations required for demolition, transportation, and disposal; abide by the Asbestos Abatement Licensing Rule as promulgated by the State of WV Div. of Health.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 2, 2020 at 10 a.m. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be held by ZOOM video. Please email [email protected] for a link to the conference at least one hour prior to the meeting.
