WV Department of Agriculture (WVDA) is seeking public bids from parties interested in a one-year renewable lease of a mobile poultry processing trailer. The 36 ft aluminum-body trailer is outfitted with waste tanks, hot water, ice machine and chilling room to process up to 500 birds per day. Trailer will be leased in “as-is” condition with the lessee being responsible for ongoing repairs and maintenance during the life of the lease. To be considered, interested parties must submit a sealed bid with a signed letter of intent including monthly and total annual lease amounts and a proposal describing the lessee’s business plan for utilizing the trailer to the WVDA Executive Division, Attn: Jennifer Keaton/Poultry Trailer, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., East, Charleston, WV 25305 no later than Wed. July 15 by 4:00 PM. The trailer will be available for public inspection at the Huttonsville Farm, 271 Prison Farm Circle, Huttonsville, WV.
