IRONTON, OHIO Sealed Bids for the construction of barriers for flooding mitigation, equipment and facilities rehabilitation, and expansion addition to a 3.4 million gallons per day water treatment plant will be received by Hecla Water Association, Inc., 3190 SR 141, Ironton, OH 45638, until 11:30 A.m., Local Time, on August 21, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud via teleconference. The facility rehabilitation Work includes. Well maintenance, including sand-blasting and repainting, replacement of electrical system controls, rehabilitation of three existing fluidized bed reactors including pipe and valves, replacement of other existing facility valves and piping, installation of a blower and replacement of portions of associated piping, disposal and replacement of gravity filter media, replacement of filter equipment and piping replacement of high service pumps, and replacement of intermediate pumps. An expansion will be constructed for the addition or replacement of chemical feed capabilities for sand catalyst feed, caustic soda feed, fluoridation, chlorination, and corrosion inhibitor feed. The expansion will be constructed of concrete masonry unit block.
