The Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority is requesting bids on stone a parking area located at 242 North Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
It is requested, but not required, that the bidder view the property before bidding due to the dimensions of the lot.
The lot size is irregular shaped as described below.
90 feet wide which narrows to 60 feet wide at the farthest end currently to be stoned which is
approximately 120 feet.
Woven Geotextile needs to be applied before six
inches of 3/4″ limestone is applied.
The bid needs to include leveling of the area as
necessary, applying the woven fabric, applying
6 inches of 3/4 limestone, hauling, compacting,
spreading and all other necessary requirements
to fulfill parking area requirements.
Any and all permits required by any City, County or State Agency is the responsibility of the
contractor to obtain.
Bids must include proof of insurance, applicable licenses and worker’s comp coverage or waiver from West Virginia.
All bids must be received by the Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority by either hand delivered to 250 North Street, New Martinsville, 26155 or mailed to WCSWA, PO Box 61, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked parking lot bid by Wednesday ay October 14, 2020.
The Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days from the last day of
accepting bids.
